That's the whole point.
Almighty GOD is indeed
simply One God and only One Person!!
That is why the most important commandment as affirmed by Jesus, the ONE GOD's Son is:
(Deu 6:4) Hear, O Israel:
The LORD our God is one LORD:
See Mark 12:28-29
Note the scribe's response:
(Mark 12:32) And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
Obviously then, neither Jesus nor the scribe were trinitarian!
They never believed that their GOD was somehow three [persons]!
So neither should we!!
Again, seeing that there is simply One GOD and only One Person who is Almighty GOD;
Jesus therefore identifies Him as
the only true GOD!
