Rules only cause us to judge...

"Enforcing rules, especially in it's more subtle expressions like responsibility and expectation, is a vain attempt to create certainty out of uncertainty. And contrary to what you might think, I have a great fondness for uncertainty. Rules cannot bring freedom; they only have the power to accuse." (p. 203)

this was one of my favorite parts of the book - the discussion of responsibility and expectations - comparing it with the ability to respond and hold expectancy.

I had been so totally drowned in reponsability ans expectation...
so locked and caged by all the rules I claimed to follow...

I can only thanks The Shack book for opening my eyes and helping me to see all the truth!
